What to do in Corfu
Paleokastritsa village
No-one can fail to be enchanted by the clear, deep blue waters of these beautiful bays, that are ideal for swimming and scuba diving. The monastery on the top of the hill which separates the 2 beaches was founded in 1225 and is considered to be one of the island’s major attractions. Take advantage of the glass-bottomed boats to visit the spectacular bays and the caves of the area and then drive up to the mountainous slopes above the beaches to visit Lakones village. From the restaurant-bar of the Golden Fox there is a breathtaking view of the entire area. Visit it at sunset time for a truly amazing sensation of peace and take away with you an unforgettable picture of Corfu in your mind.

Aqualand Water Park
Enjoy one of the biggest water parks in Europe. Aqualand operates from 10:00 am and has more than 30 different and very exciting slides and water games. Its wave pool, the third biggest in the world, will more than satisfy the most demanding lover of water parks. A full day program is recommended. The water park's facilities (restaurants, café-bars, photo shop, free parking and more) will make your visit supremely enjoyable. We would guarantee that it is a must for those of you coming with your family and well worth spending a full day there.

Achillion Palace
The palace of Princess Sissy (the Empress Elisabeth of Austria) with its superb statues of Achilleus is an attraction that most of the visitors of the island will visit.  After Achillion, spend the rest of your free time on the beach and this will bring your day of sightseeing to an ideal finish: Issos beach (approx 20min distance) is a long, sandy and clean beach with sandy cliffs stretching for hundreds of meters, giving the impression of a deserted scene. The beach has the EU’s blue flag and all necessary facilities.
On the way back we propose to visit Kinopiastes village for its famous “Trypa” restaurant. Keep a check on your appetite during the day, for the ‘Trypa’ serves all kinds of irresistible local specialities as well as many other Greek dishes and you will want to try everything! There will be a unique opportunity, too, to enjoy taking part in Greek dancing (syrtaki) with the local folklore group.
Also worth visiting in Kinopiastes is the Loutrouvio, next to the restaurant, which is the village's olive press. It has remained unchanged and visitors can observe the old machinery and equipment.

Corfu Town
A chance to visit beautiful Corfu Town and explore the two magnificent fortresses, the Old and the New, that dominate the city. The town of Corfu is now one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and wondering its streets and squares it is not hard to see why it was chosen. The Main Square, the biggest public square in the Balkans, is bordered by the handsome colonnade of the Liston, where in previous centuries the aristocracy of the island were the only ones permitted to enjoy the privilege of walking and having their coffee. Must-sees include the Palace of St Michael and Saint George and the Church of St Spyridon, the Patron Saint of Corfu. Wonderful museums are to be found at Mon Repos palace, the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Asiatic Art (one of the best in Europe on its kind with very rare collections).
Just outside the town is Kanoni, where according to legend, when Odysseus was trying to get home after the Trojan Wars, Poseidon, the god of the sea, turned his ship into stone – the rock that is now known as Mouse Island.
Do not miss the opportunity to visit the Old Town with its numerous souvenir shops, its narrow, picturesque alleyways and its excellent restaurants, bars and cafeterias.

Peroulades
The north-west region of the island is also recommended for a visit. At Peroulades Beach you can rent a pedalo and explore the coast. Sheer cliffs shelter white beaches and hidden bays with total privacy. After enjoying this experience, you can rest and enjoy a drink in the bar above the beach. Its called 7th Heaven café and when the sun sets, paints the sky in shimmering colour – one of the best sunset views in Corfu.

Sidari
Sidari is situated on the shores of a great gulf in the north of Corfu. With its fantastic sandy beaches, it is a very popular holiday area, ideal for families. It is famous for the ‘Canal d’Amour’ a rock formation that once formed a tunnel where, it is said, lovers who kissed beneath, would never forget each other. This and other sculptural rock formations of the area is the work of the wind and the sea, carving the soft clay shore into strange forms over the centuries. There are also several caves. On your last day, after leaving Sidari you will drive back down to the east coast, with wonderful scenery all the way, from mountain views to olive groves and beautiful beaches.
